Tactile Solutions

Guardian Tactile Systems manufacture and supply ‘Peel, Bond & Walk™’ integrated tactile warning and directional indicators and discrete tactile warning indicators, commonly referred to as ‘tactile buttons’. Both product ranges are used for Design for Access and Mobility (AS/NZS 1428.4.1:2009) to assist with orientation for the vision impaired. Tactiles Manufactured for Durability

Manufactured from a high-grade polyurethane, Guardian Tactile integrated indicators are lead free and resistant to ultraviolet(UV) light. They will not fade in colour, crack, chip or peel and are guaranteed for 10 years*. Guardian tactile warning indicators are designed for maximum accessibility and feature a unique nonslip surface forged into the tile domes. This surface was thoroughly tested by the CSIRO and proven to exhibit wear resistance equivalent to granite and glazed ceramic tiles. See technical datasheets for further information.

Building Accessibility

Guardian tactile warning indicators are available in a range of standard and most widely used colours. Customers may also have their own colour range made up (minimum quantities apply) to ensure that the tiles enhance almost any design, style and colour scheme.

Guardian Tactile integrated indicators are produced as squares, making them modular and able to be combined in practical configurations. The unique formulation of these tiles makes them easy to cut accurately into the shapes required by unusual ground layouts and features.
