Guardian Tactile Systems

Discrete Internal Installation Instructions

Adhesive Fixed

Step 1: Ensure the area that the tactiles are being installed onto is clean and dry.
Step 2: Correctly position the provided drilling template to where the tactiles are to be installed.
Step 3: Drill the required amount of holes into the substrate, using the template as a guide.
Step 4: Using a vacuum cleaner, remove any excess dirt/debris from the holes.
Step 5: Inject the liquid adhesive in to the holes, and then insert the discrete tactiles. Insert the tactile immediately after injecting the adhesive, otherwise the adhesive will dry or you will be unable to insert the tactile.
*Be careful when injecting the adhesive, too much adhesive may cause the hole to overflow. 1 ‘squirt’ is sufficient.
Step 6: Gently place the provided positioning template over the discrete tactiles, to ensure they are spaced evenly. Do not push down too hard with the template, otherwise the tactiles will be uneven.
Step 7: Allow for the tactiles to set and dry before walking on them.
