Guardian Tactile’s South Australian Contractor, “High Friction Surfaces Australia” (“HFSA”), recently won and completed an Adelaide City Council Tender to install Guardian Tactiles at over 30 City Bus Stops. They continue to carry out various tactile installations around the Capital for Adelaide City Council.
All SA Councils are busy getting their Bus Stops up to *DDA Code by installing Tactiles – which is to be completed by 2010. “HFSA” have been installing Guardian Tactiles over the last 3 yrs for the State Government and Local Councils including, among many, Adelaide City Council, The City of Unley, Tea Tree Gully, Campbelltown, Salisbury and others – assisting them to achieve the 2010 deadline.
Councils have found the qualities of the Guardian Tactile product and its ease of installation to their existing infrastructure to be a good cost-effective investment toward their DDA compliance.
*DDA – Disability Discrimination Act.
